Thank you for your support of our annual Galentine's Day event. This year, we successfully raised over $800 for The Fibroids Agenda Fund, and the experience was truly top tier! The gathering of inspiring, like-minded women uniting for a meaningful cause is always remarkable. Thank you to Chloe Mondesir, founder of The Fibroids Agenda Fund for partnering with us on this event and expanding our network of powerful women. This month, we shine a spotlight on Kim Lucretia, the owner of The Mobile Book Boutique. During a recent visit to the salon, Kim shared her inspiring project of transforming a sprinter van into a mobile bookstore, a concept that truly captivated me. The Mobile Book Boutique not only promotes the joy of reading but also honors diverse cultures by offering a thoughtfully curated selection of multilingual books for children aged 14 and under.

You can find The Mobile Book Boutique making appearances throughout the Atlanta area and beyond, participating in local festivals, corporate events, and school gatherings. If you’re interested in having The Mobile Book Boutique at your next event or for a special birthday celebration for your kids, reach out directly at 404-879-8032 or kimlucretia@gmail.com to secure your date for an unforgettable experience.

I can't think of a better time than Women's History Month to feature Kim Lucretia, a innovative woman who's making the world a better place one book at a time! Follow along on IG as her journey unfolds @kimlucretiaauthor

Community Spotlight

Founded by Chloe A. Mondesir, The Fibroids Agenda Fund financially supports fibroids treatment/care, advocacy, education, and community impact. Chloe is a longtime client of The Collective Salon and a close friend. We were able to witness Chloe's journey with fibroids and can attest to her commitment and dedication to support other women as they walk their own path to healing.

The disproportionate impact of severe, symptomatic fibroids and fibroids treatment on Black women often translates into increased rates of Black women experiencing invasive fibroids removals, pelvic pain, pain during intercourse, tumultuous fertility, decreased mental health, debilitating menstruation, bloating, inconvenienced work and relationships, frequent urination, and even constipation. Reproductive health, maternal health, and women's health moreover, should matter to everyone!

Join us in supporting this communal fundraising effort to reach $10,000 in 2025 by donating here. To meet Chloe personally and learn more about the initiative join us at our Galentine's Day event Thursday, February 13th. We will be accepting in person donations and The Collective Salon will be matching contributions dollar for dollar!
